528 was purchased from the Bowerman Bros at Meadow Lake, SK. He is a moderate framed deep ribbed full hipped son of OCC Legacy 839L, who has done such a powerful job for them and Crowfoot Cattle Co. We calved out the first daughters this summer and we are pleased with the way they are raising good calves while maintaining reasonable flesh in what I think you will agree has been one of the tougher winters we have seen in a while. Calving in September and nursing through the winter will put that ability to the test. You will find the Legacy sons to be very consistent and uniform images of their sire.
